Our Classes
Our performance workshops encourage all young people to be super CREATIVE, CONFIDENT and COLLABORATIVE in a safe, encouraging environment. Young people become strong COMMUNICATORS while WORKING AS A TEAM.
We offer various length workshops, during which we work towards putting on a production, with the emphasis placed on the PROCESS OF CREATING. At the end of the week, participants perform in the production they have produced!
Participants will be grouped by age with a maximum of twelve per group and will experience drama, dance and singing in separate sessions throughout the duration of the workshop. They will also be involved in creation of sets and costumes!
All of our leaders are experienced, professional and hold their Working with Children Check certification.

In-house school program
We offer a framework for students to develop creative ideas through dance, drama and song, during the school year.
We believe the performing arts offers the opportunity to develop core values in young people including collaboration, communication, respect, critical thinking, problem solving skills and confidence.
Our workshops can be set over a week, term or semester. Each group will create a performance under the guidance of professional, experienced mentors.
We work within the Australian Curriculum to engage students in deep learning and can tailor our program to suit the cohort of the school.

“Wow what an amazing week my daughter has had at Rhubarb Jam!! She has had a great time with the drama, dancing and singing, and is still showing us her dance moves tonight. We couldn't have asked for a better run program, and this afternoons performance was outstanding. Thank you Kim, Anna and Vanessa, Emerson can't wait until next holidays workshop!! She loved it!!”
“Both of my children had a fantastic time. A huge thank you to Kim and Anna for sharing their creative talent and inspiration. The kids really enjoyed the process and were proud of what they created. As were mum and dad, watching their smiles shine on stage. Thanks Rhubarb Jam for a great holiday experience.”
